University Delays, Closings, Communication Avenues and Time Reporting

As previously communicated by Gregg Floyd, Kent State University’s senior vice president for finance and administration, in the Nov. 25 edition of e-Inside, the decision to delay or cancel classes or close campuses does not come lightly. Nevertheless, as we have seen by current weather conditions,  it is imperative that we plan for such situations to occur.

In an effort to bring together the guidelines shared in Senior Vice President Floyd’s communication, along with frequently asked questions that are presented by faculty, staff or supervisors in the event of a delay or closing, the Division of Human Resources has developed a quick reference document.
