Kent State University will be closed Monday, Nov. 11, in observance of the Veterans Day holiday. No classes are scheduled, and university offices are closed.

The Greater Cleveland LGBTQ+ Community Needs Assessment findings are in. Led by Kent State University’s College of Public Health, in collaboration with 120 local organizations and nonprofits, this groundbreaking initiative marks a significant stride toward understanding and addressing the unmet needs of LGBTQ+ individuals across Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake and Lorain counties. 

Sponsored by the Kent State Alumni Association, the Alumni Awards are the university’s most prestigious alumni honors. The 2024 Alumni Award recipients include seven alumni, two recent graduates, one staff member and one current student.
