Located in over 80 acres along the shores of Lake Erie, Kent State University at Ashtabula is centrally located between Cleveland, Erie and Youngstown. The campus is within an easy drive from airports and major cultural centers, while also being just minutes away from beaches and a summer resort town. Kent State Ashtabula is easily accessible from major highways including Interstate 90 and Ohio-11.

Directions

From Areas West of Ashtabula (Cleveland)

• I-90 E to Exit  223 (OH-45 N towards Ashtabula)
• Turn left on OH-45
• Continue for 7 miles, turn right on Lake Road/OH-531
• Continue 1.5 miles on Lake Road, campus entrance will be on your right

From Areas East of Ashtabula (Erie)

• I-90 W to Exit 228 (OH-11 N towards Ashtabula) 
• Take OH-11 N until freeway ends
• Turn left onto OH-531 (Signs for Kent State Ashtabula/Ashtabula Harbor)
• Continue onto OH-531/W 5th St/Bridge St
• W 5th St/Bridge St turns left and becomes Lake Ave
• Turn right onto W 9th St/OH-531
• Continue 1.5 miles onto OH-531 W/Lake Rd , campus entrance will be on your left

From Areas South (Youngstown) 

• Take OH-11 N until freeway ends
• Turn left onto OH-531 (Signs for Kent State Ashtabula/Ashtabula Harbor)
• Continue onto OH-531/W 5th St/Bridge St
• W 5th St/Bridge St turns left and becomes Lake Ave
• Turn right onto W 9th St/OH-531
• Continue 1.5 miles onto OH-531 W/Lake Rd , campus entrance will be on your left 

Parking

There is no charge for parking on the Ashtabula campus.
