The Kent State Ashtabula Student Veterans Association is once again presenting the Field of Honor in memory of the September 11th tragedy. This year’s display has nearly 3,000 flags and will be displayed around the flag pole in the center of the campus.
The Student Veterans Association and volunteers placed the flags on Sunday, September 6th. The flags will stay on display on the campus until Sunday, September 13th. The community is invited and encouraged to come by and see the display.
A recent articulation agreement between Kent State University’s College of Applied and Technical Sciences (CATS) and the Cincinnati School of Mortuary Science provides a seamless pathway for students to earn a Bachelor of Mortuary Science degree. To help industry professionals, educators and students understand the benefits of this partnership, an informational gathering is scheduled for Sept. 29 on the Kent State Ashtabula Campus from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the auditorium of Susan J. Stocker Hall.
Kent State University’s Regional Campus System is launching a new series of workforce development programs designed to help local professionals strengthen the essential skills needed in today’s workplace. The program, titled “Upskill at Kent State – Bringing Workforce Development to Your Community,” is part of a statewide initiative at all eight Kent State locations across the Regional Campus System.
Kent State University at Ashtabula has announced its Dean’s List and President’s List for the Spring 2025 semester.
President’s List criteria are a 4.00 grade point and at least 15 letter-graded (A, B, etc.) credit hours completed by the end of the semester. Requirements for the Dean’s List include a 3.40 grade point average or above for the semester and at least 12 letter-graded credit hours completed by the end of the semester.
