Kent State University at Ashtabula will celebrate the fall graduating class of 2022 when it hold its 75th Commencement Ceremony on Friday, Dec. 16, 2022 at SPIRE in Geneva, Ohio, beginning at 7 p.m.
Approximately 150 graduates will be recognized at the event, which will be the fourth Kent State Ashtabula ceremony held in SPIRE’s track and field building. Ashtabula native and graduating honors senior Justin Thompson will deliver the student address.
“Commencement is a major milestone in the lives of our students,” said Interim Dean and Chief Administrative Officer R. William (Bill) Ayres IV, Ph.D. “And its such a special night to celebrate the accomplishments and achievements of these graduates. The faculty and staff of Kent State Ashtabula are committed to helping students achieve their dreams and providing the support and resources they need to be successful in their studies and impactful in their careers, in their communities and in society.”
